    • Rocky Point
      Rocky Island is situated on the boundary between Egypt and Sudan in the southern Red Sea. It's a tiny, deserted island renowned for its vibrant marine life and breathtaking underwater scenery.
    • Island of Zabargad
      In the southern Red Sea, close to Rocky Island, is Zabargad Island, also called St. John's Island. The largest island in the region, it has an interesting past involving prehistoric mining.
    • Johns Reef
      Near the Sudanese border, in the southernmost point of Egypt's Red Sea, lies a huge coral system called St. Johns coral. This region is made up of many small reefs dispersed over a large body of water.

The weather at each dive site will determine the final path to be traveled, and the captain and dive guides will make that decision alone. There are multiple overnight sailings on this route, thus unfavorable weather could affect it. In the marine parks, night dives are not permitted. This route has Port Ghalib as its starting and finishing point.

1 Starting the excursion

The excursion will start with a check dive at a nearby dive site at Port Ghalib, and then there will be an afternoon dive on the way to the marine parks.
