Tour itinerary

  • 1 Arrival in Cairo

    When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by a Golavita Tour Guide, who will assist you with all the arrival procedures. Then, you will transfer to the hotel via a very nice air-conditioned vehicle, you will be checked in by the tour Guide, who will give you an overview of your vacation schedule so that you know what time you must be ready for each tour.

  • 2 Journey Through History: Pyramids Tour and Train to Luxor Adventure

    After having your breakfast and checking out from the hotel, you will be met by the tour guide to proceed to the Giza Plateau to see one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, the famous Sphinx; and Valley Temple. After that, you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum to view the ancient great Egyptian artifacts and treasures. If time allows, you will also visit Khan El Khalili, Cairo's oldest bazaar, known for its traditional souks. 

    Finally, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train in a very picturesque atmosphere for your journey to Luxor. You will get dinner on the train.

    Upon arrival at the Luxor train station, a representative from Golavita Travel will be there to meet and assist you before you embark on your Luxor excursion. Prepare to explore some of the most fascinating tombs on the West Bank of the Nile River in the Valley of the Kings, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who had a significant impact on Egypt’s history, and see the impressive Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, known as one of the world’s most extraordinary open-air museums and the second most-visited historical site in Egypt.   • 4 From Luxor to Aswan

    Following breakfast, you will commence your journey to Aswan in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle equipped with wifi. The travel time is estimated to be around three and a half hours. Upon arrival, a representative from Golavita Travel will welcome you and assist you with the check-in process at your hotel. Your schedule involves a trip to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries, followed by a guided tour of the well-maintained Temple of Philae on Isis Island, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Subsequently, you will return to your hotel for the evening.

  • 5 Abu Simbel Tour

    Start your group tour to the temples of Abu Simbel, which are approximately 3.5 hours away by car. you will be greeted by the extraordinary temples constructed for Ramses II and his beloved queen Nefertari. These temples, located near the Sudanese border, are renowned for their beauty and also for their intriguing modern history, they were entirely relocated in 1968 to prevent submersion by the vast Lake Nasser. Following your exploration of the temples, you will return to Aswan and embark on the sleeper train for an overnight journey back to Cairo.

    Treat yourself to a savory breakfast on board while traveling to Giza Train Station.
