Upon your arrival at Aswan Airport, Aswan Railways, or Aswan hotel you will be met with your Egypt Tour Guide at the exit door holding a sign with the name. You will start your day by visiting the beautiful Temple of Philae which lies on the island of Agilika. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and it represents a mix between the Egyptian, Greek and Roman touches. Next, you'll explore granite quarries and the Unfinished Obelisk site, testifying to the genius of Egypt's stonemasons. You'll then check-in on board of your Nile cruise boat and have a scrumptious lunch on board. Later in the day, you will take another type of ride around the Aswan Islands in a felucca; simultaneously, take time to savor a scenic sundowner.

    Meals included: Lunch, Dinner.

  • 2 Optional Tour to Abu Simbel and Cruising the Nile

These are twin temples -- Ramses II and Queen Nefertari -- standing in Abu Simbel. The former is one of the imposing temples with a façade decorated by four 70-foot-high seated images of the pharaoh. Even more amazing is the fact that this whole site was dismantled and relocated to its current position from its original site, which was to be submerged as a result of the flooding by the Aswan High Dam.

Take a cruise to Kom Ombo, visiting the Greco-Roman temples of Haroeris and Sobek. These gods were worshiped by the ancient Egyptians; in fact, according to legend, Sobek was the god who created the world. You will also have a chance to see some mummified crocodiles, which once co-existed with humans along the banks of the Nile. You will be in Edfu in the evening.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

  • 3 Temple of Horus

Visit the Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky, built in 230 BC by Ptolemy III. This exceptionally well-preserved and colorful structure will give you a glimpse into temple worship in ancient Egypt. This afternoon, start your cruise to Luxor.

On arrival in Luxor, take some time to see the sights of the East Bank of the Nile. The first stop is the immense Temple of Luxor, a powerful place where each successive pharaoh tried to leave their mark. Walk through the columned Great Hypostyle Hall where pillars stretch 80 feet into the air. Extent is lost in marvel at the heights of the towering obelisks, a sacred lake encircled by ruins standing witness to breathtaking feats of engineering.

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

  • 4 Arrive in Luxor and discover the wonders of the Valley of the Kings

This morning you'll have a chance to visit the west bank of the Nile River and Thebes Necropolis with the remains of the Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the impressive Karnak Temple. Your next destination will be the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the pharaohs. You will be provided with the opportunity to admire Tutankhamun's tomb, discovered by Howard Carter back in 1922. Then, you will be transferred to Luxor airport., Luxor Railway or Luxor hotel depending on your plan.
    Meals Included: Breakfast.
