Tour itinerary

Day 1 Cairo

Golavita Travel Egypt representative will greet and assist you through immigration and customs formalities at Cairo airport. Once you are ready, your guide will join you in our modern new brand vehicle to your hotel in Cairo to check-in and overnight. Afternoon, you will be transferred to enjoy two hours sailing dinner cruise on board a luxury boat with our Egypt Nile cruises to enjoy life music, belly dancer show, and Tanoura show. At the end of the dinner cruise, you will go back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 Cairo - Giza

Enjoy your hearty breakfast at the hotel then start your full day tour to Giza Attractions. Start with Saqqara Complex which located about 25km to the south of the Giza Plateau and is home to some of the top Giza attractions. Start your Giza day tour with Unas Pyramid, Idut tomb, Step Pyramid of Djoser, Southern tomb. At the end of your Saqqara tour, you will enjoy your lunch at an amazing local restaurant between Palm trees by Saqqara exit. You will be greeted by musician and you will see the local women bake the bread you will eat fresh in front of you. Later on, you will go to end your Giza attractions with the Giza Pyramids Complex. At least, your tour to Giza Pyramids will put you face to face with one of the old seven wonders, Cheops Pyramid. Enter the Great Pyramid of Cheops or the Pyramid of Khafre and shoot photos for Menkaure from outside. Then proceed to the next stop to reach the Great Sphinx, you will pass first by the Port to see the old Nile branch reached the area one day. Back to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3 Cairo - Luxor

After your delicious breakfast at the hotel, your guide will join you to the Grand Egyptian Museum to see the treasures of Tutankhamun. At the end of your tour to the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will be taken to Cairo airport to fly to Luxor. Upon arrival to Luxor, you guide will accommodate you at your hotel for overnight.

Day 4 Luxor - West Bank

Enjoy your breakfast then start your Luxor day trips to Luxor attractions on the west bank of the Nile. Start your tour with burial place of the Kings. Valley of the Kings with its 62 tombs (now more) is the best way to know about ancient Egyptian burial rituals, and ancient Egyptian religion. You will visit 3 tombs included in the entrance ticket but Tutankhamun tomb needs an extra ticket together with Seti I tomb and Ramesses V tomb. Then continue your tour to the Hatshepsut temple. Hatshepsut temple in Deir El Bahri is surrounded with the Nobles tombs of the Queen especially Senenmut tomb. After that enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at a local restaurant near Mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. End your day tour to Luxor west bank with the massive huge statutes known as Memnon Colossi and the ruins of Mummification temple of Amenhotep III. Later, you will be driven to your hotel.

Day 5 Luxor - East Bank

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then join your guide for another Luxor day tour to Luxor attractions on the east bank of the Nile. Start with Luxor temple. The temple is perfect place where you can see the 2 modern religions beside the ancient Egyptian religion. At the end of the tour, you can walk the avenue of Sphinxes between Luxor temple and Karnak temple or you can go with the car. Not far from Luxor temple located Karnak complex, the biggest all over the world. The majority of the Egyptian Pharaohs of the New Kingdom added parts to the house of their god Amun. Visit the Red Chapel, White Chapel, Hypostyle Hall, Ptah temple, Mut temple, and Khonsu temple. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant then back to hotel.

Day 6 Luxor - Edfu - Kom Ombo

Today is a bit long day and amazing Pharaonic temples between Luxor and Aswan. After breakfast, you will start your Luxor to Aswan day tours with Edfu temple 120 km to the south of Luxor. The best-preserved temple in whole Egypt dedicated to Horus god. Then lunch at a local restaurant before you do your next stop at Kom Ombo temple. Unfortunately, Another amazing temple but in ruins. But what you can see here, you cannot see anywhere else. The Surgical instruments will give you an idea about the medicine in ancient Egypt. Later on, you will keep your way to Aswan, check in and overnight.

Day 7 Aswan

Enjoy your breakfast and head to Abu Simbel temples in Nubia. After 3 hours driving with a coffee break on the way, you will reach the massive temple constructed by Ramses II and the small temple for his wife Nefertari. Learn how the twin temples of Abu Simbel were dismantled and relocated after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Abu Simbel temples are rich with historical events like Kadesh Battel between Ramesses the great and the Hittites, his wars against Libyans. Back to your hotel in Aswan and overnight.

Day 8 Aswan Attractions

Enjoy your delicious breakfast then start your Aswan day tour to High Dam. The High Dam was built after the Low Dam was built and raised two times but was not adequate to control the annual flooding. Enjoy your visit to one of the biggest dams in the world and watch the created Lake Nasser. Next stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk is located in Aswan granite quarries from where they cut Hatshepsut Obelisk in Karnak. Enjoy a short ride with a motorboat to Philae temple on Agilkia Island Aswan. Philae temple is one of the temples were relocated to a new location after the building of the High Dam. Back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 9 Aswan - Cairo Attractions

Morning departure after breakfast to Aswan airport to fly to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will start your Cairo attractions tour to Citadel of Saladin. The Citadel of Saladin is one of the best things to do in Cairo as one of the top attractions in the Islamic Era. Visit Alabaster Mosque is one of the top attractions of the Citadel built by the Turkish Pacha Mohamed Ali. Explore Sultan Hassan Madrasa and Mosque, Sultan Hassan of Bahri Mamluks built the mosque on the system of schools. The mosque is considered a perfect example of the Mamluk architecture and the most impressive historic monuments in Cairo. Now its shopping time in the biggest shopping area in Cairo, Khan El Khalili Bazaar where you can try your negotiation skill. At the end of the day, you will go to check in at your Cairo hotel and overnight.
