The Hanging Church
Also known as St. Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, it is one of the oldest churches in Egypt and one of the famous attractions in Cairo dating back to the 7th century AD. The Church is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and it was built on the top of an old Roman fortress. The Hanging Church was the official residence of the Coptic Pope for a long time and it was built on the basilican style.
Abu Serga Church
Abu Serga church is the oldest church in Egypt and it was built to honor two Roman soldiers martyred for their Christian faith in 303 AD. The most important point about Abu Serga Church is the old crypt where Joseph, Mary, and the baby Jesus rested for three months.
Ben Ezra Synagogue
It is one of the most popular Jewish attractions in Cairo and one of the oldest synagogues in Egypt. It is believed that Ben Ezra Synagogue was built on the site where the baby Moses was found. Moreover, there is the Geniza where they found documents explaining the history of Jews in Egypt.

Cheops Pyramid

A massive statue measures 73.5 meters long and 20.22 meters high with a human head and a lion body. It is believed that the Great Sphinx was carved during the Old Kingdom by the Pharaoh Khafre. The lost beard of the Sphinx now is between the British Museum and the Cairo Museum. Finally, the Dream Stele between the paws of the Sphinx dates back to Prince Thutmose IV and is a highlight of the statue.
